Maverick peace activist Abie Nathan has arrived in Ethiopia with 43 tons of emergency aid supplies for that famine-stricken country. He said the consignment, worth about $300,000, was the most he could transport at one time from Israel because the only plane he could charter had limited capacity. Nathan said the supplies were bought in Israel with funds raised by “Jewish people from around the world.”
