Max Lissberger, former president of B. Lissberger & Co., smelters and refiners, now the Federated Metals Corporation, who died on March 7 of last year at the Hotel Pierre, left an estate valued at $407,217 gross and $319,915 net, according to the transfer tax appraisal filed yesterday in Surrogates Court.
Beatrice Goldberger of Kew Gardens, a former employe, was left $5,000, while three other employes were bequeathed $2,500. Jennie Lissberger, sister of the decedent, was left $25,000 and eighty per cent of the residue, while a brother, Edmund, received $20,000 and twenty per cent of the residue. Two other brothers, Benjamin and Henry, were remembered with personal bequests.
