Schneider, the young man who voluntarily confessed to the murder of the senior Halsmann, for which Philip Halsmann is now serving a prison term, has been jailed at Innsbruck for a thorough examination. Although the police doubt Schneider’s story, Advocate Pressburger, Halsmann’s counsel, hopes that Schneider’s confession will result in a reopening of the case because Schneider’s explanations in connection with the murder and robbery are very detailed.
