Pork chops may be good dog food—but when you feed it to a Jewish-reared dog—then the trouble starts!
Recorder Vincent C. Duffy found this out when Theodore Toms sought to collect $5 from Miss Frances Cohen, whose dog had strayed and been picked up and fed for one week on pork chops by Toms.
Miss Cohen refused to pay the $5 because, she said, the dog had been reared in an Orthodox Jewish home and feeding him pork chops—!!!
Recorder Duffy postponed the case.
