Mayor Jane Byrne has proclaimed the period ending May 12 as “Israel’s 33rd anniversary week in Chicago.” The proclamation, which was presented to Israel’s Consul General Moshe Gilboa and the Chicago Zionist Federation representative Miriam Soboroff, paid tribute to Israel.
