Distribution of anti-Jewish leaflets and the affixing of anti-Jewish placards have been prohibited by the Mayor of the town of Randers in Denmark, according to information reaching here today.
The action provoked a storm of protest from Nazi authorities who demanded the Mayor’s removal. The mayor, however, countered their charges with the argument that the anti-Jewish campaign led to clashes between Nazi and anti-Nazi workers and, therefore, the ban was necessary in the interests of law and order.
