Mayor Sam Yorty was presented several days ago with a set of the Encyclopaedia Judaica by Yeheskel Carmel, Consul General of Israel in this city. Yorty issued a proclamation in honor of the first Los Angeles Jerusalem Fair at which the Encyclopaedia will have a major exhibit. The Fair, from Nov. 23-Dec. 3, will be the largest event of its kind anywhere outside Israel to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Jewish State. More than 250,000 visitors are expected.
