Joseph E. McWilliams, anti-Semitic agitator, was released from the workhouse today pending appeal when his attorney obtained a writ of reasonable doubt from Justice Ford in Special Sessions Court. The writ was based on the contention that Magistrate Edgar Bromberger who sentenced McWilliams, was prejudiced and that the section under which he was sentenced was unconstitutional.
