Medical staff from an Israeli army field hospital in Macedonia returned to Israel on Thursday, following a 17-day humanitarian mission at the Brazde refugee camp near the border with Kosovo. During their mission, the staff treated some 1,500 ethnic Albanian refugees, of which 140 were hospitalized. Twelve babies were born at the hospital during this period. Joining the staff on the return flight to Israel were two refugees from Kosovo who had received permission to join a group of 111 ethnic Albanian refugees who arrived in Israel last week.
