Jewish medical students demonstrated today in front of the Jewish community offices demanding that the community furnish Jewish bodies for dissection purposes, since they were refused admission to the anatomy courses until they had Jewish bodies to dissect.
In Polish universities, Jewish students are not permitted to dissect bodies of Christians. The Jewish law forbids dissection.
A similar protest by Jewish students of the University of Warsaw, which was made yesterday, resulted in a decision to supply the bodies of Jewish indigent dead who die in hospitals and are without kin to Jewish medical students.
