Immediate establishment of a Jewish-Arab independent state in Palestine was urged in a resolution adopted last night at a meeting in Madison Square Garden celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Morning Freiheit.
The resolution called for abrogation of the British mandate and withdrawal of British troops from Palestine. William Z. Foster, national chairman of the Communist party in the United States, spoke.
