Lord Melchett presided last night at a meeting launching the Palestine Foundation Fund in England.
Leib Yaffe, of Palestine, is directing the campaign. Addresses were delivered by Nahum Sokolow, D’Avigdor Goldsmid, Dr. Selig Brodetsky and Councillor Davis, all of whom urged British Jewry to increase their contributions to set an example for world Jewry and to demonstrate to the British Government their support in the establishment of the Jewish National Homeland.
