Members of a Jewish congregation in New York arrived in the Polish town where the Auschwitz death camp was located with a Torah to present to the town’s synagogue. The members of the Cherry Lane Minyon of Great Neck, N.Y., are expected to hand over the Torah, to the Lomdei Mishnaot Synagogue on Monday.
