Plans for a Memorial Fund in honor of the late Rabbi Joshua Loth Liebman were made public here today by Joseph H. Cohen, chairman of the local committee of the drive. The initial Now England goal has been set at $1,000,000 and the campaign is expected to get under way this month.
The Liebman Memorial will be established in the form of a trust fund which will further these interests which were close to the late Dr. Liebman. A Joshua Loth Liebman Department of Human Relations will be set up shortly at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, in accordance with an expressed interest by the late author of Peace of Mind” in advancing the study of human relationships. A national board of trustees will govern the trust fund which will be formed in conjunction with the Liebman Memorial.
