Two commemorative services were held here today, honoring the memories of the 30,000 Jewish martyrs who were rounded up by the Nazis in occupied Paris and herded into the Velodrome d’Hiver, whence they were deported to death camps. Floral wreaths were deposited at the site of the former Velodrome, and at the Tomb to the Unknown Jewish Martyr.
