Memory of Louis Marshall to Be Honored at Meeting of Allied Jewish Campaign

The national conference of leading Jews from several hundred communities in every part of the United States, which will be held at Washington, D. C., March 8-9, to organize the Allied Jewish Campaign for $6,000,000 for 1930, for the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Palestine, will include in its program a national tribute to the memory of the late Louis Marshall.

An advisory committee of eight has been appointed which will cooperate with the officers in the conduct of the campaign and in the formulation of its policy. The committee, representing various groups which are constituents of the A. J. C., consists of: Gedaliah Bublick, Louis Lipsky, Dr. Solomon Lowenstein, James Marshall, Isadore D. Morrison, James N. Rosenberg, Mrs. Robert Szold and B. C. Vladek.

The Jewish community of Washington is making elaborate arrangements for the convention. A reception committee has been appointed, headed by Mrs. Charles A. Goldsmith.
