Memphis gave a rousing rally for Israel this week. The crowd of 1,500 — including Jews and non-Jews — attended Monday night’s rally at which Memphis’ mayor presented Natan Sharansky, Israel’s minister of Jerusalem and Diaspora affairs, with a key to the city. Earlier that day in Memphis, Sharansky spoke to a group of 35 interfaith leaders committed to sole Israeli control over Jerusalem.
