The theory that cultural assimilation of Jews would result in the elimination of Jew-hatred has been demonstrated false by the experience of the Jews in Germany and Jews must therefore implement a well-planned cultural program to satisfy their needs for Jewish fellowship, self-respect and religious orientation.
This is the conclusion of an exhaustive survey presented today to the joint and final session of the National Conference of Jewish Social Service, the National Association of Jewish Center Executives and the National Council of Jewish Education, held here.
Members of the above three organizations participated in the survey. Among them are Aabbi Eugene Kohn, Israel Chipkin, Dr. S. Benderly, Moses W. Beckelman, Herman Jacobs, Samuel Dinin, Michael Freund, Dr. Mordecai M. Kaplan, William Kolodny, Louis Kraft, E. J. Londow, S. Niger and Dr. Mordecai Soltes.

“Not until a social order is established which promises economic security and social justice, will it be possible for Jews to develop a community program that shall promote satisfactory Jewish culture which shall not be perverted by assimilationist tendencies nor inhibited by morbid introversion,” the report on the survey states.
All three conferences concluded today after having elected new officers and Executive Committees.
