The Metullah district which has long been a subject for dispute between England and France will, from April 1st, be included in the Palestine territory. This territory was claimed by France as a part of Syria because the natural boundary line of Syria extended through it. England, on the other hand, claimed this territory as a part of the National Jewish Home in Palestine because of the Jewish colony established in Metullah. The present settlement is considered a final one.
