The Mexican branch of the OSE, World Jewish Health Society, was actified today that the Mexican Government has approved the immigration of 100 Jewish refugee children from Europe.
The children were come from the OSE homes in France where they have been shaltered since the outbreak of the war. The Mexican Consuls in France have been instructed to issue visas for the children as soon as they are selected, the OSE was informed.
Negotiations for the admission of Jewish refugee children to Mexico have been going on for some time followiong the decision of the United States Government and Canada to admit a number of refugee children from France.
