The Mexican Government Press Department has denied reports in Mexican newspapers that the Interior Department was planning to eliminate the Jews from Mexico, the New York Times reported today, and the press department at the same time warned papers that “to publish such material is to encourage rumors and untruths that are launched by foreign groups in opposition,” referring to the German Nazis.
