Although admitting that there were some black market operations at the Zeilsheim displaced persons camp, which was raided today for the second time in two days by military police seeking contraband, responsible quarters here said that the MP’s greatly exaggerated the extent of the operations and acted against the advice of other military authorities in launching yesterday’s raid.

Rabbi Philip S. Bernstein, Adviser on Jewish Affairs to U.S. military authorities in Germany and Austria, is leaving for Paris tomorrow to discuss the possibilities of further immigration into France. French authorities have already agreed to admit 10,000 displaced persons. Bernstein will also seek to arrange a program under which “infiltrees” from Eastern Europe can secure temporary havens in France.
