The plan of the Milwaukee State Teachers College band to give concerts in Germany has been abandoned, it was announced here today.
The decision of the German consul not to allow admission charges for concerts is given as the official reason for the abandonment. However, protests of local anti-Nazi organizations are believed to be the real cause for the change in plans.
