Winners of the Jewish Daily Bulletin’s third Biggest Jewish News of the Week contest for the period of November 25 to Friday, November 30, are announced today. They will share in the $100 in cash prizes that is awarded to writers of the best 250-word letters weekly.
The judges have again selected several authors from out-of-town who submitted excellent letters. The majority of the winners this week are from New York.
THE WINNERS
First prize of twenty-five dollars in the non-student general reader division for the best 250-word letter on the Biggest Jewish News of the Week is awarded to I. B. Padway, 709 E. 11th street, Milwaukee, Wis.
Second prize of ten dollars in this group is awarded to Samuel Goldberg, 2278 85th street, Brooklyn.
Third prize of five dollars goes to Saul Shapiro, 135 State street, Auburn, N. Y.
