Local Jewish women are playing a prominent part in the formation of plans for the national convention of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom to be held here May 23 to 26.
Mrs. Michael Levin has been named to the program committee, Mrs. Samuel Eder to the social committee, Mrs. Leon Klatz to the hospitality committee, Mrs. M. H. Rosenheimer and Miss Anna Brill to the transportation committee. Mrs. Isadore Greenberg, who is president of the local chapter of the league, will arrange radio broadcasts.
