Two border policemen were injured this morning when their vehicle hit a land mine in the Idmith area near the Lebanese border. While terrorist activity has lessened along the Egyptian. Syrian and Jordanian borders, at least 60 incidents were recorded along the Lebanese border during the past three weeks. Terrorist activities have been reported from along the western slopes of Mount Hermon, through the Upper Galilee and down to the Mediterranean to a point north of Nahariya. Travelers from Jordan today reported that fighting had flared in Amman yesterday between police and guerrillas, with one police official and two guerrillas wounded. The fighting occurred as the guerrillas were preparing for today’s meeting of the Palestinian National Council.
