Jews of this city yesterday presented Lloyd George on his arrival here from Canada with an illustrated scroll on which appeared in Hebrew an appreciation of what he had done as Premier in connection with the Jewish settlement in Palestine.
Dr. Maurice Lefkowitz, speaking on behalf of the Twin Cities’ Jewish community presented the scroll to the guest. Lloyd George would never be forgotten by the Jews for what he had done to restore Palestine as a Jewish homeland, Dr. Lefkowitz said in making the presentation. Lloyd George seemed greatly moved by the tribute.
