Otto Probst, Austrian Minister of Traffic, was elected today as president of the newly-formed Austrian-Israeli Society. The organization, declaring as its aim “the intensification of Austrian-Israeli cultural relations,” held its first meeting today. In addition to Dr. Probst, it elected Cabinet Undersecretary Ludwig Steiner as a vice-president. Another vice-presidency was voted to Mrs. Hermona Simon, wife of the Israeli Ambassador to Austria.
