The Jewish contribution to Canadian life was praised here by Secretary of State J. W. Pickersgill, addressing a dedication ceremony of the Bronfman Collection of Jewish Canadian at the Jewish Public Library.
Established to stimulate interest in the study of Canadian Jewish affairs, the collection was started in 1953, and it is the intention of the library to assemble all available books, articles, pamphlets and other material relating to Canadian Jews.
