On Monday, a convention of leaders of the Jewish students and non-Jewish students will be called by Professor Homan, who is eager to settle once and for all the differences between them. By and large, the point of conflict is whether an unlimited number of Jews will be permitted to pursue higher studies, a situation which pro-Nazi nationalistic students do not relish.
In Debrecen, particularly, where Nazi sympathizers abound, the trouble has been rife, and the Minister is bending every effort to reopen the higher educational institutions and end the rioting.
