A Minneapolis synagogue was reported today to have been smeared for the second time in three months with swastikas. The side doors of Shared Zeds Synagogue were defaced by two black spray-painted swastikas.
The synagogue was one of five Jewish buildings which were similarly smeared two months ago. The incident was the first since the Hennepin County Jewish War Veterans formed a unit to maintain night vigil at Jewish community buildings. Police said that they were certain “this is just a kid thing.” No arrests were made in the initial smearing.
