Miriam Albert, executive director of B’nai B’rith Women, died here yesterday at the George Washington Hospital after a brief illness. She was 55 years old. She had served since 1959 as the top professional staff official of the 150,000 volunteer organization. The date of her death marked her 30th anniversary on the staff. She joined the organization in 1946 when its national office was opened in Chicago and was named assistant director six years later. Miss Albert was a native of Chicago where she attended the University of Chicago and Northeastern University.
