The Italian vessel Maria Antonia, which is under charter to an Israeli firm, and was missing since January 1, has turned up safe in an East African port where it took shelter from the recent storms.
The Maria Antonia, which was scheduled to put into the Israeli port of Eilath, on the Gulf of Aqaba, January 1 or 2, was feared sunk or captured by the Egyptians In the Red Sea. She left the port of Massawa with a cargo of kosher beef and hides for Israel last December 25.
