The second conference of the International Hebrew Christian Alliance, missionary organization, was held in Hamburg a few days ago. representatives being present from the Hebrew Christian Alliances in America. Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Hungary. Poland, Roumania, Sweden. Switzerland. and other countries. About three hundred delegates attended the sessions.
Sir Leon Levison, the president, presided. Addresses were delivered by the Rev. Max Reich of America, Rev. E. Bendor Samuel of London, Rev. Peter Smoljar of Riga, Rev. S. B. Rohold of Palestine, Rev. Nahum Levison, Mr. Hugh Schocnfeld. Rev. L. Rosenberg, Dr. A. P. Gold-Levin, and others. The Rev. J. I. Landsman spoke on “What is Judaism” and Pastor Kunert on “What is Christianity.”
