The retirement of Dr. Chayim Arlosoroff, head of the Political Department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, was demanded today by the world center of the Mizrachi, the orthodox Jewish party. “In view of Dr. Arlosoroff’s prejudicial political steps in arranging a meeting with the Arab sheiks in regard to the leasing of land in Transjordan, without previously consulting his colleagues in regard to this affair, we demand his retirement,” the Mizrachi resolved.

It is their contention that Dr. Arlosoroff’s action greatly damaged the Transjordan project, and they have cabled their resolution to the London Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, while also submitting it to the Palestine Executive.

Dr. Arlosoroff is leaving tomorrow for Europe in connection with the Geman-Jewish situation.
