The Mizrachi Organization of America today endorsed Senate Bill S.633, which would enable all civilian employees of the U.S. Government, irrespective of their faith, to observe their own religious days of rest and holidays, permitting observant Jews, for example, to work on Sundays in place of Saturdays.
The bill, which was introduced by Sen, William Langer of North Dakota, is at present in the hands of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
