The Mizrachi Organization of America, opening its annual convention today, heard Leon Gellman, the president accuse the British Government of “not fulfilling her promise to the Jewish people” and of “responsibility in the Palestine bloodshed.

Addressing 700 delegates and visitors at the Breakers Hotel, Mr. Gellman demanded “the Jewish national home for the Jewish people, not a sheltering home for oppressed Jews alone.” He asked equal rights for all Palestinian inhabitants and said “no partition of Palestine will be tolerated by any Jew.” Rabbi Joseph Konvitz, president of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis, declared orthodox groups would unite to fight for protection of Jewish rights and that the Jewish people would never consent to cantonization in the Holy Land.
