A total of $250,000 in war bonds has been sold in the drive to sell $1,000,000 worth of bonds to be used to construct a United States Army hospital ship which will be named after Chief Rabbi Isaac H. Herzog of Palestine, it was announced today by the Mizrachi Women’s Organization which is sponsoring the drive. The men’s Mizrachi Organization has pledged itself to sell an additional $2,000,000 worth of bonds in order to raise the $3,000,000 required for construction of the mercy vessel.
