A program outlining the future role of the Zionist movement–which will be submitted to the Zionist Actions Committee session, opening here on Wednesday–was unanimously approved here last night at a joint meeting of the governing bodies of the Mizrachi and Hapoel Hamizrachi organizations, representing the religious and religious-laborite segments of Zionism. The program recommends:
1. Immigration to Israel must remain under the auspices of the Zionist movement which should continue to care for immigration and absorption.
2. The Zionist movement must receive a charter from the Israel Government in order to be able to continue its work in the fields of immigration, absorption and colonization. The Government of Israel must assist the Jewish Agency in this task.
3. The Zionist movement must mobilize the Jewish nation in the Diaspora to assist the state of Israel by winning public opinion, sympathies and support abroad for the benefit of the state.
