The 29th annual national convention of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America voted today to erect the first Jewish religious community center in Haifa at a cost of $200, 000. The project will be financed jointly with the Canadian Mizrachi Women.
The convention also voted funds to erect additional dormitories and expand other facilities at two children’s villages it now operates in Israel. The expansion will be undertaken to meet the needs of the anticipated migration from North Africa.
