Haifa University, which is building an ultra-modern campus on the heights of Mt. Carmel, was described here last night as symbolic of “Israel’s desire for an effective dialogue with the Arab people.” Consul General Michael Arnon, of Israel, told an audience of 400 attending the unveiling of a model of the new campus at the Brooklyn Museum, that the university’s student body includes over 200 Arabs training as future teachers in Arab villages and towns and that Arab professors are members of its faculty.
