The Combined Jewish Appeal, which amalgamated five important causes in one campaign, was to-day successfully concluded. The sum of $564,000 was raised, more than $8,000 above the original quota.
This is the first time that Montreal Jewry has oversubscribed a campaign with a quota of over half a million dollars.
