Three new kibbutzim will be established within the next three years in the Raffah region by the Ichud Hakevutzot Veha-kibutzim it was announced by Ichud secretary Nahman Raz. He said the first settlement would be established within a short time and the other two at a later stage. The decision for the three settlements was reached in consultations with the Ministerial Committee on Settlement in the Administered Areas. The settlements will be located west of the main road to El Arish.
