Synagogogues of Krementchug, Poltava and Borisov have been transformed into workmen’s clubs recently, according to reports received here.
The Jewish workers at Krementchug had requested that one of the synagogues be handed over to them. while workers of Poltava asked for and received two synagogues. The building now serving as a workmen’s club in Borisov was the largest synagogue of the place.
