Morris Manson, Secretary of the National Association of Magazine Distributers of America, refused to handle sales of the “Dearborn Independent” in this city. He sent a letter to the magazine setting forth his reasons in which he said:

“In view of the advance proofs appearing in the daily press of a proposed article to appear in the December 25 issue of the “Dearborn Independent,” in which article charges are made against the Jewish race, I hereby discontinue my order for distribution.

“My reason for this action is based upon my belief that these charges are prejudiced and unjustified, tending to stimulate false propaganda and hatred against the Jewish people.”

Charles Horowitz of the University of Washington was among the Rhodes scholars elected to enter Oxford in 1927.
