Moscow Jewish activists have declared that they will gather at the Lefortovo Prison on Jan. 20, bearing gifts for the 30th birthday of imprisoned emigration spokesman Anatoly Shcharansky, the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry and Union of Councils for Soviet Jews reported. Shcharansky’s mother, Mrs. I do Milgram will also be there in an attempt to visit her son, who has been held incommunicado since his March 15 arrest an accusations of “treason.”
