The exchange of ambassadors between West Germany and Israel has been denounced as “a threat to Arab countries” in the first Soviet comment on the development, it was reported here today from Moscow.
Sovetskaya Rossia, a Moscow newspaper, in criticizing the exchange, declared that Israel “hopes to increase its military potential with the help of West Germany, and create an additional threat to the Arab countries.”
