The Moscow Yiddish State Theatre was praised by the Vienna press following its performance given last night at the Carl theatre.
Although all newspapers devoted much space to reviews of the performance. the Right press took a reserved attitude, while the Left newspapers published enthusiastic accounts concerning the staging and ensemble work of the troupe.
Granovsky, leader of the troupe, did not come to Vienna, being forced to remain in Paris because of illness.
