Moscow’s mayor spoke at the city’s Choral Synagogue to celebrate the renovation of the synagogue’s sanctuary. “Thank God, children’s voices are being heard in the synagogue more and more today,” Yuri Luzhkov, who was wearing a white yarmulke, said Wednesday, addressing the many children in the audience. “This symbolizes that the faith will live.”
