Condemnation of the Arab population in Algeria for provoking anti-Jewish riots and of the German government in driving the Jews out of Germany without reason is contained in a leading article published in Alif Ba, a Moslem daily here.
“The Jewish religion is one of the most honored in the world, and it is the duty of members of all other religions to treat it with esteem,” the article says. “It is true that we are fighting Zionism, but combatting Zionist aspirations has nothing to do with respecting the Jewish religion and those Jews who are not supporting the Zionist aims,” the paper declares.
